Each handmade object has its own uniqueness, an imperfect beauty and is capable of transmitting sensations that are profoundly different from those given by an industrial product. Precisely for this reason the name Macula was chosen, in Latin means stain, defect.
We are passionate about the creative process and are committed to offering our customers unique and personalized products. Every object that leaves our hands is the result of careful research and meticulous attention to detail.

HI! I'm Francesca Bortolussi, the creative mind behind Macula brand.

After years of training in the design field, I decided to follow my passion for ceramics by opening an artisan workshop in the beautiful Treviso countryside.

Here, surrounded by nature, I find constant inspiration for my creations. With love and patience, I create unique pieces with a fresh and colorful pop style.
